Dawn & Gareth’s wedding service was held at Maison Talbooth in Dedham Essex and then onto Le Talbooth just down the road from Maison’s. Dawn had dressed each of her 6 bridesmaids in different colours with the best man and ushers having matching coloured cravats to each corresponding bridesmaid. Along with their wedding guests I hadn’t seen this before but it looked fantastic, very stylish and pretty.
Dawn and Gareth were recommended to me by David & Clare who’s wedding I photographed back in 2008. Gareth was Davids best man back then so it was time to return the favour. It was plain to see back in 2008 and certainly now at Dawn and Gareth’s wedding that they have a wonderfully close group of friends. This was never more evident than during the speeches. They were all great and in particular David’s best man speech. The reactions by the bride and groom as David reminisced of how they first met was priceless and produced one of my favourite photo’s of the year. Their reactions in the photograph says it all … great stuff !
For Dawn and Gareth’s ‘first dance’ they had Ben ,one of their ushers, play the guitar and sing and he did a tremendous job it. Credit to him for sure.
It was wonderful to see so many faces from Dave and Claire’s wedding again and in particular Andy and Elaine. I photographed their wedding at Regiment Way, Chelmsford in 2006 and also some commercial photography for Andy’s company last year. They have been great ‘ambassadors’ for Robert Waite Photography over the years and it is very much appreciated – a big Thank You to you both.
